Christmas sales rankings are usually foregone conclusions in Barbie's doll house. The wasp-waisted icon traditionally out performs every other toy for teen girls, with room for a couple of Kens to squeeze in. But a newcomer is threatening Barbie's ranking in Dollville. The New York Daily News speculates that the Miley Cyrus-based Hannah Montana replica may topple the reigning queen of plastic figurines. Where are your loyalties: Barbie or Hannah?

Ever one to delve below surface perceptions, Fall Out Boy provocateur Pete Wentz has dropped bombshell knowledge on rap's XXL magazine. "The most emo music that's come out over the last year has been rap - everything from the new Jay-[Z] record to Kanye. Lil' Wayne is pretty much emo. Everyone who kinda delves in deep enough [is emo]." Do you agree with Pete?

Six out of eight cheerleaders at California's Ripon high school have been suspended for their part in a dance routine to the Britney Spears song '(Hit Me) Baby One More Time.' The choreography climaxed with the girls flipping up their skirts to reveal a cheeky spelling out of the school team's name on their shorts. Unamused school officials reacted by banning the offenders from two days' classes. Should the girls have been punished for doing something fun at a football game?

In Touch weekly reports that country music travesty Billy Ray Cyrus has invited the Louisiana popped tart to share the day of pilgrims and cranberry sauce with he and his daughter, Miley Cyrus. According to Hollywood Today, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America has lauded MCR as among the nation's top eight celebrity wish granters. Oddly, magician Criss Angel was also among the top eight, although the most often cited wish for Mr. Angel was that he make himself disappear and not come back.
