I personally, among few of us I'm sure, agree with Trent in a way. the Pumpkins were better back in the day, and let's face it: Fall Out Boy have a few good songs, but to me, they're not worth all the hype... especially Pete Wentz. He's not even the one with the good voice. =/ (and no, I don't care how amazing he is in other aspects of his personality, if somabody talks about a band as a whole, they're talking about music, and not a bunch of nice guys who have something in common.)

I love me some NIN, but come on. Both those bands are good too.

I love Trent & NIN, but I love FOB. And SP are ok. But I hate it when bands talk shit on other bands. It's just stupid and high schoolish.

i've never really like NIN other than Closer... though i have no prob with Trent diss FOB.. as much as i love FOB, they're not much more than a boyband.. they're just a modernized version of Nsync... BUT dissing Smashing Pumpkins is a no-no.. The Smashing Pumpkins are one of the greatest bands ever.

speaking as someone with NO body of work, i'd just like to say that i take every opportunity to slag on FOB. billy corgan and the band of phonies he rounded up to be "the smashing pumpkins" for the new record deserve some flack, but "disarm" is a better song than either NIN or FOB will ever write.

The Pumpkins have been changing almost as long as NIN so I think they deserve respect though I can't give FOB as much credit.

i hater fob. but he is no where near billy corgan. they're plenty commercial and basically suck except for maybe two songs
