Say Anything says thanks to MCR and more![]() Anyone incapable of waiting until 2009 for the next My Chemical Romance album should mark October 23, 2007, on their calendars. That's when the new Say Anything long player, In Defense of the Genre, will be released. According to Billboard, MCR's Gerard Way provides his vocal prowess to the record's title track, and he is not the only guest superstar enlisted by Say Anything. Chris Carrabba from Dashboard Confessional will be heard on the song "Retarded in Love," and Taking Back Sunday's Adam Lazzara pitches in on "Surgically Removing the Tracking Device." Listen closely, and Hayley Williams from Paramore, Pete Yorn and Saves the Day's Chris Conley can also be detected. So you can hear everyone on Say Anything.
