Madonna makes a fiesty AARP spokesperson

Old people can be lively a bit of fun in the sack. Just ask Madonna:
“Not only does society suffer from racism and sexism but it also suffers from ageism. Once you reach a certain age you’re not allowed to be adventurous, you’re not allowed to be sexual. I mean, is there a rule? Are you supposed to just die?”
My Chemical Condolences: Post a get-well card to Bob Bryar

Hopefully nobody is any further shocked and dismayed by reports that My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar is battling a work-related tendon injury in one of his drumming arms. This pained tendon has deprived MCR fans of Bob's drumming, and has also caused Bob no small degree of physical discomfort.
Wouldn't we all feel better if we took a break from our personal disappointment and sent a get-well message to Bob Bryar?
Take a moment to speed your good wishes through the My Chemical Column forum, linked here.
You'll be glad you did.
Ville Valo inspirational movie spoiler

From Vancouver, Canada's Georgia Straight:
Rumor is it's a Rumer Willis spoiler

From People magazine:
Rumer Willis is ready to accept the ’round-the-clock responsibility of being famous. Presented over the weekend with a Rumer Willis Polly Pocket Doll – which she helped auction off for $5,500 to charity – at the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation’s annual Dream Halloween benefit in Santa Monica, Calif., the 19-year-old (and eldest) daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, joked, “I feel like I’m really famous now.”
But when it really comes to the fame game, Willis – who has become a gossip-blog fixture in recent months – tells PEOPLE, “Before I started working, I would have said, ‘You know, it’s not really fair, because I didn’t choose this.’ But when you decide to be a part of this profession and put yourself out there, then you kind of have to accept what it is.” Willis says that her famous parents – including stepdad Ashton Kutcher – aren’t worried about her, even though being a celebrity means having a very public life. “I think they know that I’ve had great role models,” she said.
Still, notoriety does offer its obstacles. “It’s a 24-hour job,” she says. “It doesn’t matter if you are going out to a restaurant – you have to be aware of what you are doing and how you look and how you are presenting yourself, because most of the time people never get to know you.” But at its heart, she says of celebrity, “Being famous isn’t going to parties … it’s about being able to use the power that we all have to kind of give back.”
Gerard Way's Biggest Honor Spoiler

"This is the biggest honor we've ever had," said lead singer Gerard Way, "to be able to play in this new arena and to open for a band I listened to from third grade to now. I'm no Jon, but I do a pretty amazing karaoke version of 'Livin' On A Prayer."'
Tokio Hotel invade Israel: 8 injured

According to Y Net News, at least eight Israeli music fans had cause to rethink their devotion to German girly boy sensations Tokio Hotel after a performance in Tel Aviv Saturday night. The Israeli embassy in Germany had lured the band to the Holy Land, presenting them with a massive petition pleading for a Tokio show. Unfortunately, prior to the concert, a pair of glass doors outside the hall shattered, sending a handful of fans to hospital. No word yet on whether or not the injured parties have demanded their names be scratched from the petition.

Although this news is less exciting than if there had been an announcement that a new MCR album is recorded and ready to go, fans should be happy to learn that Mikey Way will rejoin the band for fall touring.
